is a list of services and a work plan that describes the Controller-for-a Day
concept.
Concept:
The Controller-for-a Day concept is simply to get experienced financial managers
on-site in the business rather than in an off-site CPA write-up approach. This
approach especially suits a company that has outgrown a secretary / bookkeeper
arrangement but is not ready to budget a full time experienced financial
manager. Often these companies hire a degreed individual with little experience
who must learn management by trial and error. Our suggestion is that these
errors can be costly and our experience is that a sound financial information
system cannot be taken for granted. Prospective companies may have $1 million to
$5 million or more in sales depending on the industry.

Cost:
Fees are in the $400 to $500 per day range for a two to four day a month
program. The proposed work schedule includes most record-keeping functions except
business income tax returns which would continue to be prepared by outside
CPA's. No long-term contracts are required - the service is cancelable at any
time.
